May 7th was a sunny, rainy, and overall perfect day for our first ever annual golf tournament. This year we were able to gather with 36 golfers at Wuskowhan players club to kick off our first golf tournament. We had golfers of all ages and abilities join together in a mission to benefit the Caroline’s PEACH Foundation.
Our morning started off beautiful with sunny skies for check-in and warm ups at the range. Just as we were about to gather for our shotgun start the rain came in. So we decided to take that time together in the clubhouse and enjoy our lunch together while we waited for the rain to pass. This gave our golfers, volunteers and donors an opportunity to mingle with one another and enjoy eachothers company that we would not have had prior to golf had the rain not come.
Shortly after lunch we sent off our golfers off to play 18 holes. Our golfers and spectators had such a fun time on the course competing for an overall first place foursome team and womens/mens longest drive and closest to the pin.
We ended our day with dinner, awards, an update on the foundation and a prayer. We are beyond grateful for those who came out to play and support the foundation and look forward to hosting this event again next year.
